Liquid  Level  & Pressure Transmitters 'Optima' 360 Series

The Level Transmitter 'Optima' series is designed to meet the latest IEC standards. It's rugged construction and design flexibility provide reliable monitoring of liquid levels in harsh environments, even where conditions of high overload, shock and corrosion are common.
The maintenance free design containing no active electronic components ensures reliable and trouble free operation
The 'Optima' has the sensitivity needed to accurately measure down to very low ranges but sustains a 50 times overload without damage.

High Performance Dual Mode Liquid Level Transmitter with 4 to 20mA & Modbus output

Advanced signal processing provides an increased operational span and sensitivity compared with conventional capacitive devices, reducing the number of nominal ranges to 4 to cover all tank depths up to 50 meters WG, all with the same high performance levels.

The iCT transmitter body is manufactured from high integrity 316 stainless steel and employs a carefully engineered seal assembly in a choice of materials, which draws upon PSM many years of application experience to provide a fully submersible (IP68) construction capable of withstanding the toughest operating conditions.

2000 Series monitoring and Display systems

The success of the single and multi-channel electronic tank level gauging & monitoring systems has lead to a new generation of versatile products from PSM.

The series 2000 range of tank monitoring devices offers real flexibility to suit any size and number of tanks in the most cost effective manner. All models from single to multi-channel options are fully compatible with any PSM level transmitters to ensure a 'no hassle' installation.

Powerful, versatile, simple to apply & cost effective, attributes common to all members of PSM’s new generation of 2000 series. Developing on the capabilities of its highly successful predecessor, the range offers comprehensive display & control facilities to keep you clearly in the picture

Radar level transmitter

The VG7 High frequency (26 GHz) Radar operates on the same proven principle of the earlier lower frequency 10 GHz FMCW Radars.

Enhanced accuracy Vs Pulse Radar

The difference in dynamic range between the best pulsed systems and the VG7 is more than 30 dB.  This is equivalent in signal power to a sensitivity that is 1000 times greater.  The larger dynamic range of the VG7 allows more stable detection of liquids with very low dielectric and thus very weak reflections.  Between an dielectric of 2 and a dielectric of 1.2, in an otherwise identical measurement environment, the difference in level is approximately 11.5 dB, which is equivalent to 14 times the power difference on a linear scale.

Vibrating Probe Level Switches for Liquids

This rugged design of switch is used throughout the process industries.  It is available with a wide range of flanged or screwed process connections and can have extensions, enabling the probe to reach 3 metres into a tank if required.

The wetted parts of standard switches are 316 stainless steel but special Halar coated and Hastelloy switches are used for extremely corrosive applications and hygienic probes are available for the food industry.

Ultrasonic Level Transmitter
'THE ULTRAMETER'

The Ultrameter family represents a real advance in the use of ultrasound for non-contact level measurement. It is suitable for both liquids and solids measurement. A highly developed and ultra efficient range of sensors emit a significantly higher power acoustic wave than earlier generation devices, providing enhanced accuracy and resolution and the ability to automatically compensate for and operate reliably in acoustically “noisy” or absorbent atmospheres

Averaging Pitot Flow Sensors

The PSM Torflow is an averaging multi-port pitot tube which produces a differential pressure output proportional to the square of the flow. It may be coupled with a differential pressure transmitter to give an electrical signal output, or simply piped to a differential pressure gauge or manometer to give a direct reading of the flow rate.
