Job Description:
PSM manufacture liquid level and pressure measuring instruments for the marine and process industries. It offers to its customers a system integration and engineered project facility for small to medium sized system packages. A Project Manager is required to assist the company’s growing and developing system activities in a wide range of process industries, but particularly in marine systems where a newly introduced range of products is creating a growing requirement for shipboard cargo gauging and fuel management systems on Naval ships.
Candidates would be joining a small and highly motivated team within our Sales department and would be singularly responsible for delivery of the turnkey solution from initial customer negotiations. The work will involve some overseas travel (overseeing installation and system commissioning), mainly to major shipyards in Europe and the Far East.
Experience and qualifications:
Ideally, candidates will be qualified to a minimum of HND
in electronics or associated fields but an emphasis is placed upon a proven
record of relevant application experience of industrial processes together with
skills and experience of digital/analogue control and data systems, CAD drawing
programmes and electronic system design. Practical experience in system
commissioning would be expected.
