A clever but low cost device designed by PSM not only provides a remote alarm warning of rising floodwater but also records the maximum height of water reached, to warn of secondary dangers even after the flood has receded or pumped clear.

Currently installed in thousands of electricity sub-stations in the UK it provides an immediate indication to personnel that insulation of electrical equipment may have been damaged by an earlier flood condition. 

With the Government warning of the increasing risks of flooding due to climate change, PSM’s customers say this device is a valuable and effective means to protect the safety of operatives.
