PSM introduces ULTRAMETER II range of a new acoustic wave technology of non-invasive level transmitters.

These smart devices with 2-wire 4-20mA output and full comms including Modbus and Profibus etc. closely emulate the performance and features previously only available on more expensive radar level transmitters. Vessel mapping and signal profiling are standard features as is signal strength and error analysis and an automatic compensation for such influencing media as dust and steam.  Suitable for a wide variety of industrial liquids and solids and shipboard applications standard ranges are available from 250mm up to an outstanding 100 metre depth.

A resolution of 1mm on ranges up to 20m provides the highest level of performance and accuracy for control monitoring and inventory purposes.

Mounting is simple and versatile with standard 2” BSP threaded boss to replace existing devices. Alternatively, other threaded/flange connection options allow retrofitting to existing tank connections or even to manual sounding pipes.
