replacement” initiative enabling instrument returns and repairs to be
handled quickly and efficiently.

initiative offers customers a speedy service for all standard instrument
repairs and warranty returns, by providing a fully guaranteed service
exchange instrument, based on standard published prices.

It
removes the need for the many time-consuming procedures, which often prevent
fast turn around of repairs. Such problems as transport delays; detailed
fault reporting which often require lengthy machining & investigation;
Health and Safety rules which require decontamination documents;
delays in receiving authority to proceed.
– These can all prevent the fast return of vital instruments to
their duty.

Customers
who wish to return an instrument for any reason should first contact
the Sales Department, who will take the details and in most cases can
immediately arrange for the production of a suitable exchange unit.
