SMM - Hamburg
PSM participation in 1998 exhibitions was dominated by the Marine Industry. SMM in Hamburg is reputedly the largest Marine technical equipment show anywhere. It has become a focus of recent years and our presence incorporated on the stand of our agents and good friends Hans Joachim-Tilse experienced good interest.
Ship Repair 98- London 1998.
This two day event claims to be the biggest event of its kind anywhere. Certainly we were kept busy every second of the event. The great activity in this market and interest in equipment which is easy to retrofit demonstrates that we should all pay attention to the repair shipyards. It is interesting to note that our sales statistics show an increase of 30% of sales into refit work. PSM has always kept aware of the installation methods and standards offered by instrument suppliers in the past and can usually provide a "bolt for bolt" replacement product.
