World’s largest Floating Dry-dock

PSM has been fitted to all ballast tanks on the refitted KOTKA floating dock. This is the largest dock of its type and made of concrete. The picture below shows the dock being transported from Genoa where it had been for some years and gives us a better idea of the real proportions of this giant. We understand the dock has been very successful since it went into service a year ago.

PSM has recently received a further order for the dock covering a six-point draft system to monitor deflection under load conditions.
