LIQUID LEVEL TRANSMITTERS 'OPTIMA' 360 SERIES

The Level Transmitter 'Optima' series is designed to meet the latest IEC standards. It's rugged construction and design flexibility provide reliable monitoring of liquid levels in harsh environments, even where conditions of corrosion, high overload and shock are common.

The standard construction materials of Hastelloy C276 and 316 st. stl. are compatible with a wide range of fluids. In particularly aggressive mediums, alternative materials can be employed, and for internal mounting, rigid poles and flexible PTFE sheathing can by applied.  Flush mounting diaphragms also available for viscous fluids. 

The maintenance free design containing no active electronic components ensures reliable and trouble free operation.

Ultrasonic Level Transmitter

'THE ULTRAMETER I'

The compact construction coupled with integral  LCD display, three push buttons  under the lid for security, and just eight parameters to set means that Ultrameter I is probably the simplest  level transmitter on the market  to calibrate and  use.

Ultrameter I can be configured for either level or distance in metres, feet or a percentage of span.  Empty distance and span can be entered in real values, anywhere within the instruments range.

Conventional loop powered ultrasonic level transmitters are generally slow to respond to changing levels and care needs to be taken when considering their use.  Ultrameter 1 can track level changes as fast as 10 metres per minute, without  risk of losing signal.

This rugged design of switch is used throughout the process industries.  It is available with a wide range of flanged or screwed process connections and can have extensions, enabling the probe to reach 3 metres into a tank if required. The wetted parts of standard switches are 316 stainless steel but special Halar coated and Hastelloy switches are used for extremely corrosive applications  and hygienic probes are available for the food industry.

Ultrasonic Level Transmitter

'THE ULTRAMETER II'

The Ultrameter II family represents a real advance in the use of ultrasound for non-contact level measurement. It is suitable for both liquids and solids measurement. A highly developed and ultra efficient range of sensors emit a significantly higher power acoustic wave than earlier generation devices, providing enhanced accuracy and resolution and the ability to automatically compensate for and operate reliably in acoustically “noisy” or absorbent atmospheres such as vapour, or dust.

The Elite Series 570 

A cost effective two wire, 4 to 20mA gauge pressure transmitter and is available in standard ranges from 1 bar to 600 bar. Optionally the unit can be factory scaled to customer requirements.

The Integra Series 575 

A two wire, 4 to 20mA pressure transmitter offering superb chemical and corrosion resistance. Gauge or absolute pressure is detected using a four active arm strain gauge bridge sensor, fused to a high purity ceramic diaphragm. Available in 3 classes of accuracy and thermal compensation as specified below, with standard ranges from 100 mbar to 600 bar. The unit can also be factory scaled to customer specific requirements.

For larger applications the Tankview distributed data acquisition and monitoring system can stand-alone or communicate with most management computer systems.

26Ghz Radar level transmitter

The VG7 High frequency (26 GHz) Radar operates on the same proven principle of the earlier lower frequency 10 GHz FMCW Radars.

Enhanced accuracy Vs Pulse Radar

 The difference in dynamic range between the best pulsed systems and the VG7 is more than 30 dB.  This is equivalent in signal power to a sensitivity that is 1000 times greater.  The larger dynamic range of the VG7 allows more stable detection of liquids with very low dielectric and thus very weak reflections.  Between an dielectric of 2 and a dielectric of 1.2, in an otherwise identical measurement environment, the difference in level is approximately 11.5 dB, which is equivalent to 14 times the power difference on a linear scale.

AVERAGING PITOT FLOW SENSORS 

The PSM Torflow is a 316 stainless steel averaging multi-port pitot tube which produces a differential pressure output proportional to the square of the flow. It may be coupled with a differential pressure transmitter to give an electrical signal output, or simply piped to a differential pressure gauge or manometer to give a direct reading of the flow rate.
