The ‘Tankwatch’ series 600 Self Powered tank contents Gauge requires no external power source for operation. The Instrument is fully maintenance free and gives a continuous readout of the contents within a tank without the aid of batteries or hand pumps.

The ‘Tankwatch’ uses and inert gas filled microbore capillary to transmit a pressure relative to the actual liquid level to the remotely positioned indicator. Indicators are scaled and calibrated in volumetric units according to individual tank dimensions.

Sensors are of high integrity electron-beam welded construction all in 316 stainless steel as standard.

The heavy duty copper capillary is mechanically protected by a FIRE RETARDANT grade compound and may be supplied to a maximum of 30 metres in length.

Installation simplicity is a feature of the Tankwatch. For many storage tanks a standard screwed union of 3/4" BSP or equivalent is employed to mate directly with standard or existing tank fittings and may even be fitted to full tanks!.

For chemical and marine duties flange mounting variants may be preferred, whilst for underground and some marine tanks internally installed sensors are available, together with a range of tank penetration glands and detachable capillary options.

The basic variants are depicted on the data sheet but contact PSM for the full range of optional fittings and matings to replace sight glasses and existing instruments.
